Natural Selection Activity - Students chose a "beak" and then tried to eat different types of food with them. Some were better adapted than others. The goal was to learn about those adaptations and the traits that make an organism better suited to an area, or a food.

Library Month
In Environmental Science our dragon scholars studied fossil fuels and alternatives to those fuels. After that they had a week to design and build wind-powered cars which they then tested in class on Friday. It was really cool and all of the kids were engaged in the project.
