Two of these amazing writers are from Ms. Jackson's Advanced Creative Writing class, Lilli C. and Marlen S., and the other five are students from last year. These brilliant writers entered a poetry contest and the selected winners get their poem published in the Young American Poetry Digest. Our Dragons traveled back to ancient Mesopotamia to experience how Sumerian scribes used their skills to write cuneiform, the earliest known writing system! Here are some of our Dragons inscribing on their own cuneiform clay tablets!
