SUMMER BRAINSTORMING IDEAS
Ask yourself:
What traditions are important in my family?
What values have been passed down to me?
What places, people, or experiences have shaped me?
What makes my culture special?
How can I express this through art?
Write, sketch, take photos, keep notes, or create a mood board all summer long!
IMPORTANT REMINDER!
More information including rules, requirements, and the project timeline will be shared when school begins.
Stay tuned!
ARTIST STATEMENT TIP
Every Reflections entry includes an artist statement.
As you create, think about:
“How does my artwork show what my culture means to me?”
