Hello Dragon Families,
This week is pretty quiet around campus. So we will focus on some reminders.
There has been a rise in students arriving late to class. We are continuing our tardy sweeps and those arriving late to class will have detention. But we will also reward those who arrive on time with Dragon Dollars. Please have a chat with your child about the importance of being punctual.
When dropping off or picking up your child in the solar parking lot, please use the outside lanes to drop off or pick up your child and not go down the middle of the parking lot. Dropping your child off in the middle makes them walk through the parking lot where cars might hit them. The safest place for them is the curb with immediate access to the sidewalk.
And finally this Friday school will be closed in observance of President’s weekend. There will be no school on Friday, February 17, and no school on Monday, February 20. School will resume on Tuesday, February 21.

Esta semana es bastante tranquila en el campus. Así que nos centraremos en algunos recordatorios.
Ha habido un aumento en los estudiantes que llegan tarde a clase. Continuamos con nuestras redadas de tardanzas y aquellos que lleguen tarde a clase tendrán detención. Pero también premiaremos a los que lleguen a tiempo con Dragon Dollars. Por favor, hable con su hijo sobre la importancia de ser puntual.
Cuando deje o recoja a su hijo en el estacionamiento solar, use los carriles exteriores para dejar o recoger a su hijo y no vaya por el medio del estacionamiento. Dejar a su hijo en el medio lo hace caminar por el estacionamiento donde los autos podrían atropellarlo. El lugar más seguro para ellos es la acera con acceso inmediato a la acera.
Y finalmente este viernes la escuela estará cerrada en conmemoración del fin de semana del presidente. No habrá clases el viernes 17 de febrero y no habrá clases el lunes 20 de febrero. Las clases se reanudarán el martes 21 de febrero.
