Dear Dragon Families,
We hope you had a wonderful break with your children but the time to send them back to school is here. Tomorrow school resumes at 8:00 and we look forward to welcoming them back.
Our Dragon Den opened the week before Thanksgiving. The Den is the place your child can spend the points they earn for items they hopefully want. This week students will be awarded bonus points for arriving to class on time. They do not know what day or period that will be so we hope they are on time every period of the day.
We only have three weeks and three days left until our next big break. Please keep all vacations to the time we are closed so your child doesn’t miss out on their education.
We had a small but very insightful parent group at our Pastries with the Principal on the Friday before break. They had some ideas as to how to get more parents involved. This week we will send out a survey we hope you will complete to help us know what you would like to see in our parent meetings.

Esperamos que haya tenido un descanso maravilloso con sus hijos, pero ha llegado el momento de enviarlos de regreso a la escuela. Mañana se reanuda la escuela a las 8:00 y esperamos darles la bienvenida nuevamente.
Nuestro Dragon Den abrió la semana antes del Día de Acción de Gracias. The Den es el lugar donde su hijo puede gastar los puntos que gana en los artículos que desea. Esta semana los estudiantes recibirán puntos de bonificación por llegar a clase a tiempo. No saben qué día o período será ese, así que esperamos que estén a tiempo en cada período del día.
Solo nos quedan tres semanas y tres días hasta nuestra próxima gran oportunidad. Mantenga todas las vacaciones en el momento en que estamos cerrados para que su hijo no se pierda su educación.
Tuvimos un grupo de padres pequeño pero muy perspicaz en nuestros pasteles con el director el viernes antes del descanso. Tenían algunas ideas sobre cómo involucrar a más padres. Esta semana enviaremos una encuesta que esperamos que complete para ayudarnos a saber qué le gustaría ver en nuestras reuniones de padres.
