Hello Dragon Families,
This is going to be a busy week. First off, this is Red Ribbon Week. All week we will discuss the healthy choices we can all choose instead of using drugs and alcohol. Wednesday is the day to show your commitment to being drug free by wearing red.
Friday starts off with Pastries with the Principal in the library at 8:00. We will discuss how to keep informed of your child’s progress in school and how to reach your child’s teachers.
Friday is also the day we will celebrate Halloween by allowing students to wear costumes. All costumes must adhere to the dress code, masks are not allowed (but face paint is), and no weapons of any kind.
Then we end our week with our first school dance in over 2 ½ years! For just $5 students may dance and hang out from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Please make sure to pick up your child on time or let them walk home. Snacks and drinks are available for sale.
And if you would like to help the ASB raise money for their expenditures, you can bring in a 12 pack of soda, a box of individual chips, or candy that they can then sell at the dance. If you do bring in a donation we will provide your child with Dragon Points. The more you bring the more points they will be given. Points may be redeemed in our Dragon Store. We need all donations by Wednesday.

Esta va a ser una semana ocupada. En primer lugar, esta es la Semana del Listón Rojo. Durante toda la semana discutiremos las opciones saludables que todos podemos elegir en lugar de usar drogas y alcohol. El miércoles es el día para mostrar tu compromiso de estar libre de drogas vistiéndote de rojo.
El viernes comienza con pasteles con el director en la biblioteca a las 8:00. Discutiremos cómo mantenerse informado sobre el progreso de su hijo en la escuela y cómo comunicarse con los maestros de su hijo.
El viernes también es el día en que celebraremos Halloween al permitir que los estudiantes usen disfraces. Todos los disfraces deben cumplir con el código de vestimenta, no se permiten máscaras (pero sí pintura facial) y armas de ningún tipo.
¡Luego terminamos nuestra semana con nuestro primer baile escolar en más de 2 años y medio! Por solo $5, los estudiantes pueden bailar y pasar el rato de 4:00 p. m. a 6:00 p. m. Asegúrese de recoger a su hijo a tiempo o déjelo caminar a casa. Aperitivos y bebidas están disponibles para la venta.
Y si desea ayudar a la ASB a recaudar dinero para sus gastos, puede traer un paquete de 12 refrescos, una caja de papas fritas individuales o dulces que luego pueden vender en el baile. Si trae una donación, le daremos Dragon Points a su hijo. Cuanto más traigas más puntos se te darán. Los puntos se pueden canjear en nuestra Dragon Store. Necesitamos todas las donaciones para el miércoles.
