Looks like we had a taste of Fall weather but the heat is coming back. Make sure to drink lots of water as dehydration is not fun.
Tomorrow is Bosses Day and your child has many bosses at school. This is a great opportunity to talk about what respecting a boss looks like, especially if we do not like them as much as we like our other bosses. And Happy Bosses day to you…being a parent makes you a boss by default!
Tuesday is Kona Ice day and the heat will return so it is a great day to pick up a sweet treat that is fun to eat!
Pictures from picture day will be emailed to you for you to pick the one you like best and to order online. It is important that we have your most current email address on file. You should receive an email with your child’s pictures soon.
Our first dance in over two years is coming on October 28. We are looking for donations to sell at the dance. If you would like to contribute please drop it off in the office or send it with your child. We are looking for boxes of individually wrapped chips, candy, or snacks, and cans of soda and water bottles. We cannot have items that need to be prepared or unwrapped.
It is the tradition at Del Dios to allow costumes for Halloween on the last Friday of the month of October. Costumes will be allowed on Friday, October 28. Costumes must adhere to the dress code, weapons are not allowed, and no masks. You may use face paint. If you have any questions please call the office.

Parece que probamos el clima otoñal, pero el calor está regresando. Asegúrate de beber mucha agua ya que la deshidratación no es divertida.
Mañana es el Día de los Jefes y su hijo tiene muchos jefes en la escuela. Esta es una gran oportunidad para hablar sobre cómo es respetar a un jefe, especialmente si no nos gusta tanto como nos gustan nuestros otros jefes. Y feliz día de los jefes para ti... ¡ser padre te convierte en un jefe por defecto!
El martes es el día de Kona Ice y el calor volverá, ¡así que es un gran día para comprar un dulce que es divertido de comer!
Las fotos del día de la foto se le enviarán por correo electrónico para que elija la que más le guste y la ordene en línea. Es importante que tengamos registrada su dirección de correo electrónico más reciente. Debería recibir un correo electrónico con las fotos de su hijo pronto.
Nuestro primer baile en más de dos años será el 28 de octubre. Estamos buscando donaciones para vender en el baile. Si desea contribuir, déjelo en la oficina o envíelo con su hijo. Estamos buscando cajas de papas fritas, dulces o bocadillos envueltos individualmente, y latas de refrescos y botellas de agua. No podemos tener artículos que necesitan ser preparados o desenvueltos.
Es tradición en Del Dios permitir disfraces para Halloween el último viernes del mes de octubre. Se permitirán disfraces el viernes 28 de octubre. Los disfraces deben cumplir con el código de vestimenta, no se permiten armas ni máscaras. Puedes usar pintura facial. Si tiene alguna pregunta, llame a la oficina.
