Tomorrow is Labor Day so school is closed. We hope you enjoy your extra day with family and friends and we will see you back to school on Tuesday!
Kone Ice is Tuesday! With the heat we have been experiencing it is the perfect time to grab a sweet treat that is fun to eat. Small cups start at just $3.
Our PTA membership drive is in full swing. Our theme is Soak Us in Memberships. For every membership your child brings in they will be given one water balloon to throw as their staff member of their choice. Memberships are only $10 and will help us support the learning and fun for our Dragons. Here is a link to join online but that will be $11. So far we have over 75 memberships…that is a lot of balloons! Also, if you join by September 9th you will be entered in an opportunity drawing for one of three $25 gift cards! Thanks for your support.
Everyday students may eat breakfast and lunch at no cost. If you would like to see what we offer here is a link to our monthly menu. Breakfast begins at 7:30.
Drop off and pick up can be a busy time with students exiting and entering cars. Please be careful when driving through our parking lot. And speaking of parking lots, the lot closest to the office is for staff only and for handicap parking. Please do not drop off or pick up in this lot. Thank you.
Students should not call you during the day to tell you that they are sick and to come pick them up. If your child does this please call the office and we will have the nurse evaluate your child to see if they should go home or stay in school. We have had some very frustrated parents come to the office thinking their child is there only to find out they never came to the office.

Mañana es el Día del Trabajo, por lo que la escuela está cerrada. ¡Esperamos que disfrute de su día extra con su familia y amigos y nos vemos de regreso a la escuela el martes!
¡Kone Ice es martes! Con el calor que hemos estado experimentando es el momento perfecto para tomar un dulce que es divertido de comer. Las tazas pequeñas comienzan en solo $ 3.
Nuestra campaña de membresía de la PTA está en pleno apogeo. Nuestro tema es Empápate de Membresías. Por cada membresía que traiga su hijo, se le dará un globo de agua para tirar como miembro del personal de su elección. Las membresías cuestan solo $ 10 y nos ayudarán a apoyar el aprendizaje y la diversión de nuestros Dragones. Aquí hay un enlace para unirse en línea, pero costará $ 11. Hasta ahora tenemos más de 75 membresías... ¡eso es un montón de globos! ¡Además, si se une antes del 9 de septiembre, participará en un sorteo de oportunidad de una de las tres tarjetas de regalo de $25! Todos los días los estudiantes pueden desayunar y almorzar sin costo alguno. Si desea ver lo que ofrecemos aquí hay un enlace a nuestro menú mensual. El desayuno comienza a las 7:30.
Dejar y recoger puede ser un momento ocupado con los estudiantes que salen y entran de los automóviles. Tenga cuidado al conducir por nuestro estacionamiento. Y hablando de estacionamientos, el estacionamiento más cercano a la oficina es solo para el personal y para discapacitados. Por favor, no deje ni recoja en este lote. Gracias.
Los estudiantes no deben llamarlo durante el día para decirle que están enfermos y que venga a recogerlos. Si su hijo hace esto, llame a la oficina y haremos que la enfermera evalúe a su hijo para ver si debe irse a casa o quedarse en la escuela. Hemos tenido algunos padres muy frustrados que vienen a la oficina pensando que su hijo está allí solo para descubrir que nunca vinieron a la oficina.
