Hello Del Dios Families, this is your principal, Lisa Pitard, with your weekly announcements.
Tomorrow is our 8th grade promotion ceremony at 6:00 PM in front of the STEM building. Your 8th grader should arrive at school by 5:30 and proceed to the basketball courts. Please dress appropriately and make sure your child can walk in their shoes on uneven ground, up and down the stairs, and on wood chips. If you park on campus please know that you cannot make a left turn into the parking lots…right turns only. Please follow all directions of staff outside guiding you to a spot. We also suggest parking across the street near Ross and walking across the street to school. We look forward to seeing you and sending your child off to high school.
All materials such as iPads, text books, library books, cables and chargers should have been turned in by now. If you still have any of these items please return them to the library tomorrow.
We ask that students do not bring backpacks to school for the last three days of school. Small purses and bags are allowed. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe.
Tuesday is the last day of school. Students are released at 11:54. We will serve lunch to those who want it but it is not a requirement to stay for lunch. Please make sure to make arrangements to have your child picked up early.
Well, that is all for now Dragons. I have loved every minute of our first year together. To those leaving Del Dios, I wish you good luck. And to those returning in August I look forward to another great year. Stay safe Dragons!

Hola familias de Del Dios, esta es su directora, Lisa Pitard, con sus anuncios semanales.
Mañana es nuestra ceremonia de promoción de octavo grado a las 6:00 p. m. frente al edificio STEM. Su hijo de octavo grado debe llegar a la escuela a las 5:30 y proceder a las canchas de baloncesto. Vístase apropiadamente y asegúrese de que su hijo pueda caminar con sus zapatos en terreno irregular, subir y bajar escaleras y sobre astillas de madera. Si se estaciona en el campus, tenga en cuenta que no puede girar a la izquierda hacia los estacionamientos... solo gira a la derecha. Siga todas las instrucciones del personal de afuera que lo guían a un lugar. También sugerimos estacionarse al otro lado de la calle cerca de Ross y cruzar la calle caminando hacia la escuela. Esperamos verlos y enviar a su hijo a la escuela secundaria.
Todos los materiales, como iPads, libros de texto, libros de la biblioteca, cables y cargadores, ya deberían haberse entregado. Si todavía tiene alguno de estos artículos, por favor devuélvalos a la biblioteca mañana.
Pedimos que los estudiantes no traigan mochilas a la escuela durante los últimos tres días de clases. Se permiten carteras y bolsos pequeños. Gracias por su cooperación para mantener seguros a nuestros estudiantes.
El martes es el último día de clases. Los estudiantes salen a las 11:54. Serviremos el almuerzo a quienes lo deseen, pero no es un requisito quedarse a almorzar. Por favor asegúrese de hacer arreglos para que su hijo sea recogido temprano.
Bueno, eso es todo por ahora Dragones. He amado cada minuto de nuestro primer año juntos. A los que se van de Del Dios, les deseo mucha suerte. Y a los que regresan en agosto, espero otro gran año. ¡Manténganse a salvo Dragones!
