What a great turnout for our Family Day at Lunch. We had over 140 families come and eat with their child. We cannot wait to see how many come next time. This will happen at least once a trimester.
We have noticed that our drop off is getting a little scary. Students are getting out of vehicles in the middle or far lane or even in the parking spots then walking in between cars to get to the sidewalk. Please only let your child out when the traffic is stopped. Remind them to use the white lined crosswalks to get to the sidewalk. And please do not drop off students near the MPR and expect that they can enter through the office. We ask all students to enter through the solar parking lot gate. You can drop them off at the curb on 9th Avenue but they will have to walk up to the solar gates. Thank you!
Your last chance to get your picture taken for the yearbook and to purchase photos is tomorrow. Makeup picture day is Monday so dress to impress but don’t wear green…it will blend with the green screen.
This Thursday is our next PTA fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese on East Valley Parkway. Come on by between 3:00 - 9:00 PM and enjoy good food and some fun games. We have a flyer attached that has great deals on both food and games. We hope you enjoy this family friendly night.
One area of concern that we are trying to address is profanity and racial slurs. Profanity and racial slurs are not allowed on campus or any school event. Even if you allow these words at home they cannot be used at school and will not be tolerated. Use of profanity or racial slurs will result in the removal from class, in school suspension, and/or out of school suspension. If you have any questions about what can or cannot be said please contact one of our administrators.
We are having our first dance on October 27th from 4:00 - 5:30. We need donations to sell at the dance. We need nacho cheese sauce, tortilla chips, soda, water, bowls for the nachos, candy, and chips. If you would like to donate any of these items please drop them off in the office or send them to school with your child. We are also looking for adults to work the dance selling food and monitoring the students. If you would like to work the dance please contact Maria Mendoza at 760-432-2439.

Qué gran participación para nuestro Día Familiar durante el almuerzo. Tuvimos más de 140 familias que vinieron a comer con sus hijos. No podemos esperar a ver cuántos vendrán la próxima vez. Esto sucederá al menos una vez por trimestre.
Hemos notado que nuestra bajada se está volviendo un poco aterradora. Los estudiantes salen de los vehículos en el carril central o lejano o incluso en los lugares de estacionamiento y luego caminan entre los autos para llegar a la acera. Por favor, deje salir a su hijo sólo cuando el tráfico esté detenido. Recuérdeles que usen los cruces peatonales bordeados de blanco para llegar a la acera. Y por favor no deje a los estudiantes cerca del MPR y espere que puedan ingresar por la oficina. Les pedimos a todos los estudiantes que entren por la puerta solar del estacionamiento. Puedes dejarlos en la acera de la 9ª Avenida, pero tendrán que caminar hasta las puertas solares. ¡Gracias!
Su última oportunidad de tomarse una fotografía para el anuario y comprar fotografías es mañana. El día de la foto de maquillaje es el lunes, así que vístete para impresionar, pero no uses verde... se combinará con la pantalla verde.
Este jueves es nuestra próxima recaudación de fondos de la PTA en Chuck E. Cheese en East Valley Parkway. Ven entre las 3:00 y las 9:00 p. m. y disfruta de buena comida y algunos juegos divertidos. Tenemos un folleto adjunto que tiene grandes ofertas tanto en comida como en juegos. Esperamos que disfrutes de esta noche familiar.
Un área de preocupación que estamos tratando de abordar es la malas palabras y los insultos raciales. No se permiten malas palabras ni insultos raciales en el campus ni en ningún evento escolar. Incluso si permites estas palabras en casa, no se pueden usar en la escuela y no serán toleradas. El uso de malas palabras o insultos raciales resultará en la expulsión de la clase, suspensión dentro de la escuela y/o suspensión fuera de la escuela. Si tiene alguna pregunta sobre lo que se puede o no decir, comuníquese con uno de nuestros administradores.
Tendremos nuestro primer baile el 27 de octubre de 4:00 a 5:30. Necesitamos donaciones para vender en el baile. Necesitamos salsa de queso para nachos, chips de tortilla, refresco, agua, tazones para los nachos, dulces y papas fritas. Si desea donar alguno de estos artículos, déjelo en la oficina o envíelo a la escuela con su hijo. También buscamos adultos para trabajar el baile vendiendo comida y haciendo seguimiento a los alumnos. Si desea trabajar en el baile, comuníquese con María Mendoza al 760-432-2439.
