Hello Dragon Families,
Welcome to September! Tomorrow is Labor Day so school will be closed. School will resume on Tuesday, September 5th.
iReady diagnostic assessments for both math and reading are just about done and we are using that information to move students in and out of our math and reading intervention classes. We will make those changes this week.
Thursday we will have our Chocolate Sale Assembly. All money will benefit our ASB which put on dances, spirit days and so much more. If you would like to have your child sell a box of chocolate please complete the permission slip. If you do you are responsible for the the entire box of 60 bars. Thanks for the support.
Friday is our first spirit day…Sports Day! Wear your favorite shirt, jersey, or hat of your favorite sports team. We look forward to seeing your school spirit!
Also, Friday is our first Coffee with the Principal. Join us at 8:00 in the library for coffee, pastries, and some good conversations. One of our topics will be our Title I presentation.

¡Bienvenido a septiembre! Mañana es el Día del Trabajo por lo que la escuela estará cerrada. La escuela se reanudará el martes 5 de septiembre.
Las evaluaciones de diagnóstico iReady para matemáticas y lectura están casi terminadas y estamos usando esa información para que los estudiantes entren y salgan de nuestras clases de intervención de matemáticas y lectura. Haremos esos cambios esta semana.
El jueves tendremos nuestra Asamblea de Venta de Chocolate. Todo el dinero beneficiará a nuestra ASB que organizó bailes, días de espíritu y mucho más. Si desea que su hijo venda una caja de chocolate, complete el formulario de permiso. Si lo haces, eres responsable de toda la caja de 60 barras. Gracias por el apoyo.
El viernes es nuestro primer día espiritual... ¡Día del deporte! Usa tu camiseta, jersey o gorra favorita de tu equipo deportivo favorito. ¡Esperamos ver su espíritu escolar!
Además, el viernes es nuestro primer Café con el Director. Únase a nosotros a las 8:00 en la biblioteca para tomar café, pasteles y buenas conversaciones. Uno de nuestros temas será nuestra presentación del Título I.
