Hello Dragon Families,
Welcome to the last week of school and we have a lot going on. Please read over this week’s message as there is a lot of information.
These last four days of school we ask that students not bring a backpack. Students may bring a small bag or purse but we will look inside as they come in the door to ensure students do not have anything at school they should not bring.
Sixth grade students will return their materials on Tuesday. They may bring them in a grocery bag. They are to return the ELA book, iPad, charger cord and brick, and HotSpot if they borrowed one.
Reward Day is Tuesday…those with a GPA of 2.5 or greater, no suspensions, and fewer than 10 tardies will be treated to a wonderful afternoon of games and fun.
Our Award Ceremony for trimester three is Wednesday. Eighth grade is at 8:20, Sixth grade at 10:10, and Seventh grade at 1:10. You should have received a paper invitation from your student on Friday as well as an email from Del Dios.
Promotion is Thursday at 6:00. Doors will open at 5:30. Students were given invitations to this on Friday as well as an email on Friday. We hope to see you to celebrate our eighth grade group leaving us.
We have a week of spirit. Tuesday is wear camo or red, white, and blue to honor Memorial Day, Wednesday is Pajama Day, Thursday is jersey or sports day, and Friday is wear your house shirt or color or a Del Dios shirt.
And finally, Friday is the last day of school. Even though it is a minimum day we encourage you to send your student to school as it is an expected day to be here. School we let out at 12:09 and lunch will be served to those who would like it but it is not a requirement to eat lunch here.

Bienvenidos a la última semana de clases y tenemos mucho que hacer. Lea el mensaje de esta semana ya que hay mucha información.
Estos últimos cuatro días de clases les pedimos a los estudiantes que no traigan mochila. Los estudiantes pueden traer una bolsa o cartera pequeña, pero miraremos adentro cuando entren por la puerta para asegurarnos de que los estudiantes no tengan nada en la escuela que no deban traer.
Los estudiantes de sexto grado devolverán sus materiales el martes. Pueden traerlos en una bolsa de supermercado. Deben devolver el libro de ELA, el iPad, el cable y el ladrillo del cargador y el HotSpot si lo tomaron prestado.
El día de la recompensa es el martes... aquellos con un GPA de 2.5 o más, sin suspensiones y con menos de 10 tardanzas disfrutarán de una maravillosa tarde de juegos y diversión.
Nuestra ceremonia de premiación para el tercer trimestre es el miércoles. El octavo grado es a las 8:20, el sexto grado a las 10:10 y el séptimo grado a la 1:10. Debería haber recibido una invitación en papel de su estudiante el viernes, así como un correo electrónico de Del Dios.
La promoción es el jueves a las 6:00. Las puertas se abrirán a las 5:30. Los estudiantes recibieron invitaciones para esto el viernes, así como un correo electrónico el viernes. Esperamos verlos para celebrar que nuestro grupo de octavo grado nos deje.
Tenemos una semana de espíritu. El martes es usar camuflaje o rojo, blanco y azul para honrar el Día de los Caídos, el miércoles es el Día de la Pijama, el jueves es el día de la camiseta o los deportes, y el viernes es usar la camiseta o el color de su casa o una camiseta de Del Dios.
Y finalmente, el viernes es el último día de clases. Aunque es un día mínimo, lo alentamos a que envíe a su estudiante a la escuela, ya que es un día esperado para estar aquí. Salimos de la escuela a las 12:09 y se servirá el almuerzo a quienes lo deseen, pero no es un requisito comer aquí.
