Hello Dragon Families,
This week ends trimester two. Students have until Friday to turn in their missing assignments to be counted for this grading period. To assist students with homework, projects and assignments, we have staff members available after school in the library for one hour. This is available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays until the end of the school year.
We are looking for parents or family members to serve our school on the PTA board. We need a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Serving on the middle school board is much easier than serving on the elementary school board. Our meetings are kept to 30 minutes or less and we have many staff who would love to help you with the position. I would personally help you as well setting agendas and running meetings. Call me if you have any questions.

This Friday is O’hana day. O’hana is Hawaiian for family…it comes from the movie Lilo and Stitch…so wear your favorite island shirt and show your school spirit!

Esta semana termina el segundo trimestre. Los estudiantes tienen hasta el viernes para entregar las tareas que faltan para que se cuenten para este período de calificación. Para ayudar a los estudiantes con la tarea, los proyectos y las asignaciones, tenemos miembros del personal disponibles después de la escuela en la biblioteca durante una hora. Esto está disponible los lunes, martes y miércoles hasta el final del año escolar.
Estamos buscando padres o miembros de la familia para servir a nuestra escuela en la junta de la PTA. Necesitamos un presidente, un vicepresidente, un secretario y un tesorero. Servir en la junta de la escuela intermedia es mucho más fácil que servir en la junta de la escuela primaria. Nuestras reuniones se mantienen en 30 minutos o menos y tenemos mucho personal al que le encantaría ayudarlo con el puesto. También te ayudaría personalmente a establecer agendas y organizar reuniones. Llámame si tienes alguna pregunta.
