Wow, lots going on tomorrow Thursday, starting with our PTA Association meeting at 8:15, followed by student Early Dismissal at 12:15, make sure to pick up on time to head on over & cool down at YOGURTLAND for our fundraiser, don't forget to mention BERNARDO at check out, and finally, end our busy day with our awesome Back to School Night at 5:30! Can't wait to see you all back tomorrow!!! ¡Wau, hay tanto por hacer mañana Jueves, empezando con la junta de Asociación del PTA a las 8:15, seguido por la Salida Temprana a las 12:15, para que llegue a tiempo y se vayan derechito a YOGURTLAND a refrescarse, y no olvide mencionar a BERNARDO al pagar, y finalmente terminar con nuestra Noche de Regreso a Clases a las 5:30! ¡Ya queremos verlos a todos mañana!

Oh the sound of music! This morning our 4th & 5th Graders were treated with an amazing music presentation by our wonderful EUSD Band Teachers. Throughout the year, students will learn more about different instruments & their sounds to inspire our next generation of musicians. Who knows?! Maybe our next Beethoven might be from Bernardo! ¡Oh el sonido de música! Ésta mañana, alumnos de 4to y 5to fueron agasajados con una presentación musical por los Maestros de Banda de EUSD. A lo largo del año, los alumnos aprenderán sobre los diferentes instrumentos y sonidos, para inspirar a la próxima generación de músicos. ¡Quizá el próximo Beethoven saldrá de Bernardo!

Yesterday was our first morning Student Assembly & it turned out to be super awesome! We started with the Pledge of Allegiance, then all 5th graders did the honors of starting our cool dance, Ms. Woods then talked about our compliment cards & we ended with Ms. Hanel's favorite "It Begins with Me" chant! Happy Friday!!! ¡Ayer fue nuestra primer Asamblea de Alumnos y resultó ser super espectacular! Comenzamos saludando la bandera, luego los de 5to nos motivaron con nuestro baile divertido, Ms. Woods nos habló sobre las tarjetas para premios, y terminamos con el canto favorito "Todo Comienza Conmigo" de Mrs. Hanel! Felíz Viernes a todos!!!

We had an awesome turnout last Friday for our Kona Ice Social! What a way to finish off the first week of school. A big thank you to our wonderful PTA for putting this together for our Bernardo Families. We could not close this last day without the whole school saying so long, farewell, during their final walk through school. Please don't forget us. So so bittersweet for everyone. Here are some of the highlights of yesterday's 5th Grade Promotion. The 5th Grade teachers had some awesome, fun & tearful speeches dedicated to their students, which made just that much special. A big thank you to our amazing PTA for all their hard work with the awesome decorations! Aquí lo más sobresaliente de la Promoción de 5to Grado de ayer.
